Ubuntu Lynx Lucide: Effets spéciaux qui ne s'affichent plus

Bonjour,

Je suis sous Ubuntu Lynx lucide avec une carte vidéo Nvidia Geforce Go 7300. Mes drivers sont à jour, j'ai la dernière version (195.36.15).
Depuis la mise à jour Ubuntu, les effets spéciaux (magie, récolte...), bien que sélectionnés, ne s'affichent plus

. Tout le reste semble fonctionner correctement.

Une idée?

Ubuntu Lucid Lynx mise à niveau en ligne tout est fonctionnel sur LE, y compris les effets spéciaux de sorts magiques et de récolte.

La ligne qui semble la plus importante est celle-là :
Failed loading libpng.so.3: libpng.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

As-tu bien libpng d'installés sur ton Ubuntu ?

Après un petit passage chez mon ami Synaptic, oui il est bien installé.
Je l'ai réinstallé du coup... Mais rien à changé toujours pas d'effets quand je récolte où me soigne...

Je l'ai fait...
Un seul fichier "libpng.so"... dans usr/lib/compiz en bibliothèque partagée... (13.6 Ko)

Dans le répertoire compiz... C'est peut-être normal, mais je ne connais pas assez Ubuntu pour le savoir. Vola tu peux nous donner le résultat de la même recherche ?

Oui, résultat identique bien que la localisation me surprenne aussi.

Si tu as fait une mise à niveau en ligne et non une install depuis 0, certains paquets ont probablement été supprimés et leur liste conservée dans un log ? Auquel cas regarde peut être ce log voir s' il n' y pas un indice là dedans ? ça me semble un peu galère sans descriptif mais de prime abord je n' ai pas de meilleure idée à proposer.

Je suis sous Hardy et j'avais le meme probleme, en lisant vos messages je me suis (enfin) penche sur la question et je l'ai resolue.

Chez moi j'avais libpng12 d'installe, j'ai installe la libpng3 egalement disponible dans le depot et ca fonctionne maintenant.

Et sinon normalement la librairie devrait se trouver dans /usr/lib directement.
J'ai egalement un libpng.so dans le fichier compiz mais c'est pas celle la qu'il te faut.

En esperant que ca t'aide a resoudre le probleme chez toi!

Et bien j'ai déjà libpng3 et libpng12 aussi... Je les ai réinstaller mais ça a rien donné... Mais merci d'avoir essayé

Concernant le fichier log des paquets supprimés lors de la mise à jour, je ne vois pas où il se trouve, après recherches sur forum Ubuntu... J'ai bien la liste des dernier paquets installés dans /var/log/dpkg.log mais bon... ça m'avance à rien...
Je continue les recherches...

Il existe peut-être une solution, mais qui n'est pas très propre, c'est celle de créer un lien symbolique :

ln -s usr/lib/compiz/libpng.so /usr/lib/libpng.so.3

A voir si ça fonctionne, mais il serait bien de trouver une méthode plus jolie que celle-là.

Dans Synaptc tu vois libpng3 et libpng12 d'installes mais dans /usr/lib tu ne vois ni libpng.so.3 ni libpng12.so, c'est ca?

Après vérification, dans /usr/lib j'ai bien libpng.so.3 ainsi qu'un libpng.so mais pas libpng.so.12(alors que le paquet libpng12-0 est installé)

Ben je sais pas, je suis pas du tout un expert, mais dans /usr/lib depuis terminal, si je fais un "ls -l *libpng*", ca me donne:

libpng.a -> libpng12.a
libpng.so -> libpng12.so

Donc le libpng.so.3 est en fait un lien vers la libpng12.so.0 donc c'est sans doute la ton probleme.
Si la libpng12 n'est pas la j'aurais tendance a dire que tu peux depuis Synaptic faire un supprimer puis la reinstaller mais je suis loin d'etre un pro de Linux donc tu as le droit de pas avoir confiance en moi
